Every bead undergoes ten to twenty cycles of meticulous hand-coating: applying layers of lacquer, allowing each layer to dry, then carving, sanding, and polishing before repeating the process. This intricate layering on fine ebony wood gives the beads their signature depth, luster, and smooth finish — a testament to the dedication of the artisans.
